Tanvi joined Elevar in 2022 as the Operations Manager.
Prior to joining Elevar, she spent 5 years in the hospitality industry with The Oberoi group of hotels and resorts. Her last position with the company was as restaurant manager of an Asian specialty restaurant. Being in the hospitality industry gave her the opportunity to meet and interact with a diverse group of people.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from The Institute of Hotel Management. She then completed a management training program with The Oberoi Group. In her leisure time, Tanvi enjoys baking and loves trying out classic recipes.
Before Elevar, I worked in hospitality, specifically in the field of food and beverage. I have always been fascinated with food – the variety of cuisines, various methods of cooking and pairing food with beverages leaves so much room for creativity. A great meal can transform one’s day and in my job, I was largely responsible for ensuring that it was a transformation worth remembering.
At the end of the day, if I’m able to reflect on the work done and see that my learning has progressed from where I actually began to where I stand at the end, it’s a good work day for me.
Outside of work, I would probably be,
a. Baking and working out a new recipe.
b. Reading a book with a cup of coffee.
c. Looking for restaurants or cafes to try.
