Vaishali joined Elevar in 2024 as a Senior Associate on the Legal team.
Before joining Elevar, Vaishali worked at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas for over five years in the general corporate team. She has advised on domestic and cross-border private equity/venture capital investments, private mergers & acquisitions, and employment law matters. Her transactional experience ranges across sectors such as real estate, healthcare, and e-commerce, involving complex group restructuring and navigating regulatory challenges. She hopes to leverage this legal experience to create a meaningful impact through Elevar and its portfolio companies.
Vaishali has an integrated undergraduate degree in law and arts from the National Law Institute University, Bhopal.
She enjoys (re)watching sitcoms, knitting, playing board/video games, and is a reluctant but optimistic gardening enthusiast.
Within the Elevar ecosystem, there is an apparent sense of purpose beyond self-interest that drives everyone. This energy is quite infectious and inspires a person to find meaning even in the mundane.
A day at work typically starts with an ambitious to-do list and ends with a reality check. It makes for a good day when I am left with a sense of accomplishment for completing a sizable number of practical goals. A curveball thrown in to challenge my settled patterns of thinking is a welcome disruption. I also look forward to interesting conversations with my colleagues and constantly learning from their varied experiences.
There is an art to being right. It is not just about proving a point but involves listening with an open mind, effective and collaborative communication, and a lot of humility.
